Strengthen Your Immunity Naturally – To Avoid COVID-19

At this time of the coronavirus(COVID-19) infection, there are several types of vitamin-mineral pills. But researchers say there is no witch food or pill that will protect against coronary infection. Social distance, washing hands frequently and adhering to hygiene are the main factors in this regard. However, it is also true that proper, nutritious food provides the strength to fight any disease, especially infectious disease.

• Scientists have already suggested eating antioxidant-rich foods to fight various types of flu and pneumonia. Zinc, selenium, and magnesium in vitamins C, D, E, and minerals are used in various stages of the body’s immune system. This does not mean that you will be safe by playing these supplements.

• The US Drug Administration says there is no scientific basis for the claim that market supplements will be used to prevent disease. There have already been two studies on vitamin C in China and zinc has been studied at the National Healthcare Institute (NIH) in the United States. While these studies have shown some benefit, it is doubtful how effective they are at improving the patient’s physical condition.

• Researchers say, however, that instead of supplements or pills, one should focus on eating healthy vitamin, mineral-rich foods right now. Therefore, nothing should be eaten in excess.

• The elderly, patients, those with digestive disorders or kidney complications, can eat vitamin or mineral supplements. Those who are not currently home-bound and do not get sunshine at home, they can eat vitamin D supplement.

Vitamin A and beta-carotene: Sweet pumpkin, squash, carrots, sweet potato, leafy vegetables, and mangoes.

Vitamin C: Citrus fruit (lemon or mint fruit), strawberries, capsicum, raw peppers, tomatoes.

Vitamin E: Vegetable oils, nuts, cereal foods.

Selenium: eggs, mushrooms, spinach, chicken.

Vitamin D: Calcium, egg yolks, milk and dairy products, such as yogurt. In addition to marine fish, such as salmon, tuna, sardines, vitamin D is also present. Vitamin D is produced naturally in sunlight. So try to apply sunlight on the porch or the courtyard even if you have a house closed.
